Every Christmas we do a holiday gift exchange between the cousins. For years, ornaments were the gift to give, but somewhere in between the years of pre-teen and wanna be adult we decided that ornaments were lame. We wanted things like blankets and socks. It wasn’t until a few years back while decorating my Mom’s tree did I realize how special an ornament gift can be. They can hold so much sentimental value which just increases as the years pass. This year will be our first Christmas in Brooklyn in our new home that we are building together. I was on the hunt for sentimental ornaments that reflect us individually as well as ornaments that represent our relationship. I came across so many gems that I had to share!
