Miserable, cold, rainy, weekends are perfect for relaxing inside with friends. We busted out in hysterical laughter while watching re-runs of our favorite “Friends” episodes. We also enjoyed flipping through magazines, and I also searched for the perfect soup recipe. By Sunday afternoon, I was still lounging in my sweats, crafting, and flipping through my Soup Bible. I finally found a recipe that jumped out at me. This special recipe sounded amazingly rich & delicious, so I attempted to create with my own twist. (you can use this one but add 1/3 cup of bleu) I’ve always been a fan of Creamy Tomato Basil soup, but I decided that I should try something new. Luckily, I had some bleu cheese in the fridge which made my decision much easier. We rented more Red Box Movies than we could ever watch in a weekend. While it poured buckets of rain outside, we sipped on our Cream of Tomato and bleu cheese soup, topped with a slice of fresh toasted baguette. We were thoroughly content and cozy sitting inside by the fire. Stay safe, warm & dry!!
