In an interview with Diablo Magazine a few weeks ago, I was asked “does where you live shape your style”? My response was simple, I definitely think that where you live influences the way you dress. Living in a beach town, the atmosphere is very laid back and easy going. When I walk around in heels and a pencil skirt I get strange looks. However, if I wore that outfit in any large city, I would blend right in. Living in San Diego I have learned to love cute tennis shoes, light sweaters, cut offs and dresses. I purchased this Zara jacket in New York, it was a little Valentine’s Day gift to myself. I love the feminine colors as well as the simple style & cut that this jacket offers. I paired it with my vintage cut off shorts and a pair of H&M glitter tennis shoes. The shorts gave it a bit of the beach-y relaxed vibe while the classy jacket and glitter tennis shoes softened the look and dressed it up a bit.
