I am always amazed by the endless list of creative ideas you can try when working with a pumpkin. This past weekend I had a mini pumpkin carving party. I will say that although I am not the world’s best pumpkin carver, my skills have drastically improved since the last time I carved pumpkins during my Freshmen year of college. Prior to visiting the pumpkin patch to find the perfect pumpkin, my mom and I stopped by the local Farmer’s Market to pick up some fresh fall flowers. One of the vendor booths that we purchased flowers from displayed a few bouquet’s inside of a pumpkin and used it as a vase as well as a festive fall decoration. I Instantly became inspired and I re-created the look for my own home by using a Real Pumpkin and a variety of Fresh Flowers. Creating this fall Décor was a simple craft project and very relaxing. Here is my step by step process to create this look.
Little Tip: Pick the vase before hand and measure the circumference of the vase on the pumpkin. Trace with a pencil and carve your outline to make sure that the vase fits perfectly.
