Until recently, Peplum has never been a trend I have been drawn to. I was hesitant about this trend for a while because I felt that it would accentuate my already wide-set hips, but since the trend has continued to stick around I thought that I should at least own one Peplum piece this season. Peplum tops are a fun, feminine twist on your average blouse or shirt (especially for Spring and Summer). I prefer a subtle Peplum instead of the more extravagant Peplum pieces such as skirts and dresses. These trendy new tops draw the eye to the natural waist and also are great at hiding a not-so-flat stomach.
