There is never a dull moment when you’re with your friends. They are the people who are there for you throughout your ups and your downs, the ones who love you like a family member, and the people you can count on to have a great time, even if it’s just chatting in the kitchen while baking cookies on a Tuesday night. Last night I had to say goodbye to my sisters boyfriend. He has been a great addition to the family this summer and will be missed by not only my sister, but by every member in the family. Holding back tears was easy until my mom let out the water works soon after my sister started and then everyone in the kitchen was teary-eyed. A week from today will mark the day that I venture down to San Diego not for another vacation, but for good. The rest of the week will be spent with family and friends, last night was a perfect way to spend time with my girls before we all head our separate ways this semester.
