Wow….its been a while since I put together a Finally Friday post. It’s hard to believe that the semester is almost over. It feels like yesterday since I moved down here to San Diego. I was always told that college comes and goes faster than you can ever imagine. I guess it’s one of those expressions that you hear often, but you will never really understand the reality of the words until it becomes your own personal experience. Lately the weeks come and go very fast so I have been trying to focus on the little things that make me smile. For instance….. this week I couldn’t help but smile at all the Christmas decorations displayed all over in my house. This weekend, I will need to be focused and dedicate my time by finishing projects and papers that are due next week for my finals. I also plan to take a break to go Christmas shopping, as well as fit in a Christmas movie and potentially even let loose and release some energy on the ice-skating ring. Finals are rough and I have never been a student that can pull an –“all nighter” so I will consistently work hard and then reward myself.
