As you may have noticed, last week I decided to take a little break. It was one of those weeks where I was four steps behind, with every step I took. Every time I got close to catching up something would knock me back down again. By the end of each day I was exhausted and worn out. Instead of stressing about my daily blog posts I decided that I would take the much needed blogging break and focus my time and energy on school. I spent time over the weekend to organize and prepare for the coming weeks. It is now the second week of December (which I can’t believe)…and I’m living in San Diego where I can walk out of the house in shorts and a tank top so it’s been a bit difficult to get in the Christmas spirit. Yesterday, I decided to bake and watch Christmas movies while putting together a holiday gift guide. Shopping is something that I absolutely love to do when I have the time (and money!). As I’ve become older, my Holiday Wish List has evolved. When I was younger, I used to ask for makeup and fake nails. Now, as I’ve aged, I ask for gifts that most people my age would ever imagine putting on their list for Santa. My siblings laughed at me when I told them that I wanted bowls and kitchen appliances specifically from Anthropologie for Christmas this year. They may have thought that I was joking, but I was 100% serious. Now that I have my own place, I appreciate little objects & gifts that will instantly convert my rented house into a cozy home.
