With the loads of Halloween candy that has been sitting in our apartment, I have become a fan of Twix candy bars. There is something about biting into a cookie, carmel and chocolate that is so satisfying. But, I decided that there was one thing missing which is why I decided to make my own twix bars (using this recipe) with my own twist! My ultimate favorite candy pleasure is Dark Chocolate & Carmel topped with sea salt. With a craving in mind I decided to sprinkle sea salt on top of the finished twix bars to add that extra mmm factor to them. The cookie may need some tweaking but other than that they were delicious way better than the store bought ones.
