This whole moving thing has really taken not only all my time but all my energy. The past couple days have been far from glamorous. I spent most of my days this week, in big t-shirts and shorts, tirelessly packing & taping boxes, and moving them from one side of the room to the other, at least 100 times. I am a fanatic when it comes to organization so this packing and living out of boxes thing, makes me really cranky. By the end of the day yesterday, I found myself exhausted, with an empty fridge and bare kitchen cupboards. Needless to say, the remainder of my nights here in San Diego, will be spent dining out or eating take out food this week. Today I will be spending the majority of my time working on papers that are due on Monday. But tonight, I couldn’t be more excited for my date. This evening, I am looking forward to putting on some lipstick; mist myself with perfume and I’m eager to throw on something other than sweats, for dinner and a movie in La Jolla. This weekend will be a whirlwind of chaos, work & exhaustion but come Tuesday, I will truly be able to relax with friends and family, enjoy my birthday week and also enjoy the remainder of the summer months. Unfortunately, what’s left of this week, will be devoted to cardboard boxes, comet, and ammonia so I continually look forward to the little things that will brighten my days’ and here are just a few.
