Yesterday I decided to pack up a picnic basket and head to the reservoir near my house. It was a perfect day, the HOT HOT spell finally passed and the weather lately has been perfect. I threw on a lightweight bright yellow dress and floppy summer hat to avoid having to do my hair. We sat on the dock played a hand (or two) of cards, ate salami and crackers and fed the ducks. It was such a relaxing afternoon that I must keep in mind when things start to get chaotic. Down by the water it is so peaceful and calm, its so close to home but yet you feel so far away when you are there.
