It’s always candle season in our home, but now it’s holiday candle season! I could pretend that I haven’t been counting down the days until it’s socially acceptable to break out all my favorite festive scents, but I won’t. Instead, I will admit that I have been collecting my favorite holiday scents for months now. Every time we come across a solid Douglas or Fraiser Fir candle that smells like Christmas, we either purchase it in bulk OR buy one for us and one as a gift (they make the perfect gift during the holiday season). When looking for a candle — a seasonal candle to be specific — I want the whole package. The smell has to be comforting, not overpowering. It also has to look nice while burning on the kitchen counter, bookshelf or mantel!
We have burned our fair share of candles over here and I have narrowed it down to these top holiday scents I never get sick of.
Brooklyn Candle Company
The websites description of this candle couldn’t be more accurate. The scent resembles fresh air during an early morning Hike throughout the Catskills mountains.

Stumbled upon this brand and scent at a boutique in my hometown, but the brand happens to be located in the Hudson Valley of New York — one of our favorite locations. This candle transports me upstate NY at a cabin in the woods.
