Fall has finally arrived here in San Diego. The past two days have been slightly chilly. Yesterday I woke up to the cold ocean breeze and the smell of coffee (thanks to my amazing roommate). It was one of those mornings where getting out of bed was a struggle. The only thing that sounded enticing was relaxing in bed, watching endless movies. While my plan sounded perfect in my head, it just wasn’t practical. So instead of having a lazy day I decided to start decorating for fall. The second I brought out the candy-corn, pumpkins and Halloween decorations I felt compelled to make some Halloween treats. Fortunately, I had the ingredients to make candy apples which in my opinion desperately scream ……. Halloween is around the corner. I am excited to carve pumpkins this weekend and whip up some more goodies!
